In a meaningful celebration of kindness, awareness, and community empowerment, the Art of Giving (AOG) team in Jharkhand organized a special public awareness event on 14 June 2025 that brought together educators, social workers, and volunteers under the shared mission of selfless giving. The celebration was graced by Dr. Sarita Singh, NSS President Awardee and former Head of the University Department of English at Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh, who has been a torchbearer of social change and youth leadership in the state.
This impactful gathering also witnessed the participation of the dynamic team from Vasudha Kalyan Foundation, an organization known for its unwavering commitment to environmental awareness and cleanliness drives across Jharkhand. The joint celebration beautifully merged the values of the Art of Giving movement, comprising selflessness, compassion, and human dignity, with grassroots efforts toward a cleaner, healthier, and more equitable society.
Dr. Sarita Singh addressed the gathering, highlighting the urgent need to inculcate the values of giving and empathy in today’s fast-paced world. She lauded the work of both Art of Giving, encouraging the youth to actively participate in civic and humanitarian responsibilities.
The event was marked by engaging discussions, sharing of community impact stories, and planning for collaborative activities focused on cleanliness, education, and awareness across Jharkhand. The spirit of the Art of Giving resonated throughout the event, reminding all participants that true change begins with small, selfless acts of kindness.
